Costs:

Studying and living costs in the UK depend largely on the location along with the education provider and your course. On average, it may range from about GBP10,000 to GBP 25,000 per year for tuition fees only. As a TIER 4 (General) Student Visa applicant, international students will need to show £1265 inside London and £1015 outside London per month for the duration of 9 months towards the Tier 4 visa maintenance requirement.

Applying for a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa:

Once you have your CAS you can apply for your visa online using the official Visa4UK service. In addition to your CAS you must provide the following materials:
  • A valid passport with sufficient space for your visa
  • Evidence of your maintenance funds – Funds at a Bank at least for 28 days or education loan to cover 1 year tuition fees & living expenses.

  • TB Test medical certificate from a Panel Doctor

  • English Proficiency Certificate (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL)
During the application, you must pay the fee for a UK student visa is (£348) which is non-refundable, and an immigration healthcare surcharge. (GBP 300 per year) In addition to your visa application, you will need to submit fingerprints and a photograph. This should be done at an official Visa Application Centre (VAC).
